Hello, Just getting around to your post and thank you for it. It appears that there are still men NOT willing to step up to the plate emotionally or financially. Addressing your issues- my first take is the money for bills and the TIME the funds are needed should always be discussed upfront- and with cash in hand. No one can move into any apartment with out upfront cash. To determine the KIND of man you are dealing with- get the money discussion in EARLY. Save time, energy and cash. This would not apply to someone with their OWN- preferable own HOME, not apartment but you can decide that for yourself. Not paying bills on time- BIG Red Flag You can do bad by your damn self- I am SURE you have heard that expression. Evaluate if YOUR relationship is making your life better or worse. AND YOU ALWAYS know the answer! Financial Hardship? Compounded by someone who had no intention of helping you- So, my assessment (don't shoot the messenger) is you got played. Sorry, my sistah.
