The February 16th event was a wonderful success. It had all the ingredients necessary for a great night out. Good food and better company. I truly appreciate all the feedback generated both negative (too expensive) and positive (great idea, atmosphere and like I said great ADULT COMPANY).
As a new beginnig for me it proved to be a perfect mix of folks. The event was intimate, relaxed and fun. The atmosphere was due to the very adult attitudes of all involved with a special shout out to my sisters who ACTED like sista's.
The next event will be in April so if you know some GROWN FOLKS over 35 please tell them about the website. Hope to see YOU at the next event!

I just wanted to say what an interesting read you have built.

Ive got a couple of SBI sites, but the lady who sent in her anon comments was correct - you are inspirational.

Your testimonials page has an html error at the bottom (sorry to sound like a nit picker, but better that you know).(hope I corrected but if not, can someone holla at a sister please!)

I emailed The Woodshed to see if I could get some input from the brothers about why I was having such a difficult time getting men to not only participate but to show up for the HurryDate events per their RSVP.The responses so far have been from women, but I am posting one of them anonymously per her request.

Fellas, we need some clarification PLEASE!

A friend forwarded me your e-mail asking for assistance on the problem with black men not showing up when they say they are going to. DUHHHH!!!!Isn't that their traditional MO (motif of operation)? Black men do not have a clue as to what a simple commitment means or entails, let alone a serious commitment. That's why black women are dateless, manless, husbandless, because we just do not have the patience or stamina to deal with their "devil may care" attitudes. Its not that they prefer other ethnic women, its mostly because we prefer not to have to put up with theirB.S. (I ain't hatin', just appreciatin' the fact that they are only changing for the worse.)
