Dumped

by Lydia
(Torrance CA)

Ladies: It does not pay, not to listen to the Lord, for those of you who believe. I had the most rotten experience since I have been born on this planet. All because I did not obey that still small voice inside of me.

It started last year. I meant this cacausion Man, Very attractive, and nice at first. He is a loan Officer in he city of Irvine, CA. We meant on one of those dating sites. At first, when we meett in person, things seemed ok. But I sent him an email telling him, i did not think we were a match, even though he knows Christ. Our first date was, breakfast at Mi's Mi's Cafe. We dated every week for about 5 months. Things got complicated, When we would set up dates, he would always come up with excuses not to see me. I would ask why,. he would say things, like, I'm not his priority, but his daughter is. Which I can understand. Then things got more complicated. He asked me for a small loan. $100 to pay his rent. Bad move. Ladies, Unless your married to that man, or he has committed to you, "Do Not Ever Give Any Man Your Money". I don't care if its 50 cents. Men are clever, Well we broke up last May of 2009. Back in December, the Lord spoke to me, and said he's gonna try and come back to you. I was good to him. He told me constantly, that I was a good woman. In January of this year, I got a text message from him, asking could he come over and watch a movie with me. Well, I wasn't busy, so I said yes. If I could turn back the hands of time, I would have said NO!!! to him. He lost everything. His place, you name it, he lost it. So I let him back in. Only this time it was different. We were intimate. When your intimate, you build a bond, and its a closeness, like nothing else. He made promises to me, that this time, He would marry me, spend our lives together. One thing led to another. He must have cancelled at least 3 to 4 dates, and I was only seeing him once a week. He asked for more money, I gave to him. He deleted my cell phone #, and vanished. I had to go and get counseling from my pastor, because I had fallen in Love again with him, but deeper this time. I just recently got my life back together, and began to smile again. I stayed in depression behind him, I think, in fact I know, there was someone else, because he had a fight, and he did not want to forgive me, and says he's a Christian. "Ladies Beware of These Men." They know what to say, and do to get their hooks in you. Make sure you keep your heart, before you let it go. Because its hard getting it back, once its stolen. God is the only reason, i'm sitting here writing you this Real Live Story. Beware of online dating. I'm trusting God to meet someone in person. I feel that this would be best for me. Lol
